Eskenazi Health serves as the public hospital division of the Health & Hospital Corporation of Marion County. Physicians provide a comprehensive range of primary and specialty care services at the 333-bed hospital and outpatient facilities both on and off of the Eskenazi Health downtown campus including at a network of Eskenazi Health Center sites located throughout Indianapolis.

Job Role Summary
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing the agency's activities carried out to develop and enhance workforce quality and quantity via job development, job placement and retention of program participants in jobs with growth potential, benefits and wages to sustain family life
- Works in partnership with other agencies and companies to develop strategies to improve the skills of job seekers and meet business' workforce needs
- Develops partnerships via formalized agreements with businesses willing to hire Fathers and Families Program participants
- Oversees job readiness training with current and forecasted job and career opportunities
- Matches clients with appropriate job openings
- Maintains ongoing contact with clients and employers during the first year of employment to assist with problems that may arise
- Participates in interdisciplinary meetings and scheduled conferences providing appropriate input
- Responsible for tracking participants' progress using computer database
- Prepares monthly activity, reports, statistical data analysis and documentation of job development, placements, retention, wage growth, and referrals
- Completes all required client/service activity forms to ensure accurate information
- May perform home and community visits as needed
- Coordinates Job Club meetings and job fairs as required
- Markets programs and services to potential corporate sponsors
- Provides leadership in assisting the agency in developing for-profit employment services via partnership development, best practices and the establishment of accountability
- Participates in the planning and/or delivery of consultations and educational services as assigned
- Supervises staff; completes performance evaluations, makes recommendations for disciplinary actions, writes action plans
- Screens and interviews candidates for hiring and makes recommendations for hiring and terminations
Job Requirements
- Master's degree from an accredited university in the area of supervision, vocational rehabilitation, human services related area or business administration preferred
- Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of three years of related experience acceptable in lieu of Master's degree
- Minimum of one year of direct service experience in workforce activities including program development, partnership development, coordination and job retention
- Minimum of one year of supervisory experience preferred
- Current Indiana driver's license that meets Eskenazi Health's driving policy requirements
- Must have own transportation

- Familiar with business sector protocol and procedures, public relations and marketing skills that can be applied to assist clients of the Fathers and Families Program

- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively with complex tasks and pressure/time
- Ability to use a variety of reality-oriented problem solving counseling and assessment techniques
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in clear, concise manner
- Ability to organize and plan goals/objectives and prioritize such goals, outstanding follow-up and time management skills
- Ability to work cooperatively with diverse individuals consisting of the client population, their families and significant others, program staff, mental health professionals and community business leaders.
