Job Role Summary
The Steward II maintains the overall cleanliness and organization of all receiving and storage areas by rotating all stock according to FIFO (first in first out) procedures and monitors items for expiration dates. This position maintains sanitation and cleanliness of the walk in cooler, freezer, dry stock and storage rooms, walls, floors, racks, and bins.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in the service industry or a warehouse environment.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Receives all deliveries and puts up stock in an organized manner and according to proper food safety code
- Verifies items against invoices to ensure accuracy of the delivery, inspects received items for damage, signs delivery invoice and informs management of any discrepancies
- Rotates all stock according to FIFO (first in first out) procedures and monitors items for expiration dates
- Assists with taking inventory and placing orders as needed
- Maintains sanitation and cleanliness of the walk in cooler, freezer, dry stock and storage rooms, walls, floors, racks and bins
- Empties trash throughout assigned work area as needed
- Works as a team member to provide the most efficient service to guests
- Puts cleaning equipment away at the end of each shift and properly shuts down dish tank
- Can assist with deliveries for vending, catering and other special events as necessary utilizing Eskenazi vehicles
- Performs other job related duties as assigned
