Job Role Summary

The Sr Talent Operations Partner – SEMHC delivers the recruitment solution that enhances Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center’s (SEMHC) ability to attract and retain candidates and employees, conducts a full life-cycle recruitment process for various positions within SEMHC and helps drive talent attraction strategy. Coordinating full life-cycle recruitment process for various positions within SEMHC, i.e., Administrative, Clinical, and other critical healthcare roles across the SEMHC, this role will plan, implement, and coordinate all respective recruitment activities and execute the deployment of talent acquisition resources to fulfill varied customer talent needs across SEMHC.  The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner focuses on the development of candidate attraction and sourcing strategies, branding campaigns, candidate experience initiatives and workforce recruitment strategies. 

Additionally, this role serves as the Analyst, executing human resources systems and SuccessFactors technical modifications, upgrades, optimizations, new technology enabled methods and process improvements related to system-wide hiring and onboarding. This role will interact with human resources teams, hiring managers and candidates to deliver an exceptional and efficient interviewing, onboarding, and pre/post-hiring experience within the systems and provide mentorship to associates participating in various technical projects. 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

•    Proactively contributes to Eskenazi Health’s mission: Advocate, Care, Teach and Serve with special emphasis on the vulnerable population of Marion County. Models Eskenazi Health values of Professionalism, Respect, Innovation, Development and Excellence.
•    Participates and conducts a full life-cycle recruitment process for various positions within SEMHC and strategically deploys talent resources to fulfill customer talent needs across SEMHC. 
•    Maintains a high level of knowledgebase of recruitment and workforce trends (including pay, culture changes, etc.).
•    Partners with Public Affairs, talent acquisition, Ackerman leadership, and other key resources on talent strategy
•    Coordinates the offer of employment, presenting offer to candidate, conferring with directors/department managers regarding acceptances/declines/rescinds and the  required steps for candidate onboarding.
•    In conjunction with leader, this role participates in the selection, training and serves as primary mentor to talent acquisition team members ensuring an effective, consistent recruitment process and ensures operational objectives are met within a positive work environment while delivering continuous improvement of outcomes.
•    Cultivates and maintains relationships with hiring leaders, team, and management, including quarterly and monthly meetings to ensure recruitment needs are being met.  Prepares summary status reports of recruitment/retention activities and participates in the development, tracking and communication of key talent management metrics to drive continuous improvement.
•    Prepares and tracks data to provide standard metrics reporting, dashboards, in addition to developing/designing ad hoc reports to support requests in line with recommendations for leadership.
•    Participates in readiness efforts  according to regulatory standards and assists in preparation including assistance with maintaining listing of current licenses/certifications and attendance at various meetings relevant to talent strategy and recruitment.
 

Job Requirements

•    Bachelor’s degree in social science, humanities, business or related degree plus at least two (2) years of professional work experience.
•    Six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in recruiting may be accepted in lieu of education, preferably in healthcare.
•    At least four (4) years of experience mentoring and/or leading a human resources team and social media strategy preferred.
•    Full-cycle recruiting experience required.
•    Experience creating, gathering, analyzing and interpreting data and statistical reports through both quantitative and qualitative research required.
•    Working knowledge of healthcare services and understanding employment laws.     
 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

•    High-level skills in verbal and written communication and interviewing techniques.
•    Use of standard office equipment required; working knowledge of word processing, database management and spreadsheets highly desirable.
•    Must be knowledgeable of health profession licensure and certification requirements, labor laws, corporate and departmental policies/procedures and personnel procedures.
•    Ability to prioritize work and devise own work patterns/methods, be flexible to changing priorities, exercise good judgment, work effectively with students/health care professionals and wide variety of others.
•    Participates in long range planning for recruitment purposes, work with minimal supervision, be detail-oriented; maintain confidentiality of information, display mature problem-solving skills.
•    Ability to use age-appropriate communication skills.
•    Ability to evaluate and advise others based on socioeconomic backgrounds, social and academic challenges and needs.
•    Ability to recognize needs of varying clients and respond appropriately during interactions.
•    Ability to gain competency with HRIS (SAP), OnBase and other software such as performance management systems.
•    Leadership skills.
•    Expertise in internet recruitment, including sourcing products and applicant tracking systems.
•    Expertise in sourcing for passive candidates using nontraditional tools.
•    Experience in healthcare recruiting.
•    History of collaboration in making hiring decisions.
