Job Role Summary

Provides administrative and managerial services to the CFO that includes secretarial, administrative, supervisory, managerial and support services with little or no supervision.

Essential Duties

  • Provide sophisticated calendar management for CFO; ensure that their time is utilized in the best and most efficient manner while meeting HHC priorities.
  • Prioritize inquiries and requests while troubleshooting conflicts; make judgements and recommendations to ensure smooth day-to-day engagements.
  • Facilitates the many necessary changes in a timely manner with the CFO’s calendar, as appropriate, while taking other schedules into consideration when notifying and rescheduling appointments.
  • Assures travel arrangements (including lodging, air, and ground transportation) are properly scheduled and meet the needs of those individuals traveling and Corporate Headquarters.
  • Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks that facilitate the CFO’s ability to effectively lead the
  • corporation, including assisting with special projects; designing and producing complex documents, reports, and presentations; collecting and preparing information for meetings with staff and outside parties; composing and preparing correspondence; maintaining contact lists; and completing expense and mileage reports.
  • Work closely with the CFO to communicate upcoming commitments and responsibilities,
  • following up appropriately and anticipate CFO’s needs in advance of meetings, conferences, etc.
  • Maintains a high level of reliability and stability within the Office of the President, particularly during periods of leadership absence.
  • Exercises good judgment and exemplifies a professional presence and calm demeanor when dealing with all issues and situations.
  • Understand divisions under HHC; Manages internal and external special projects in coordination with other departments and/or divisions on behalf of the CFO.
  • Researches, gathers, and/or compiles information as required by the CFO.
  • Proactively find solutions to issues and think critically when searching for solutions.
  • Independently facilitates office procedures and policies that will create and maintain an office of maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Clearly communicates concerns and questions to the appropriate Leadership Team member by keeping each consistently apprised of issues and situations that need attention.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Adobe, and other systems critical to efficiently completing work.


  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of previous experience

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships, work on a team with a variety of individuals, both internally and externally; able to work independently and make decisions independently. 
  • Excellent office management abilities, able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
