Job Role Summary
This position is responsible for supervising Supervisors, as well as supporting the program and Program Director. Conduct monthly supervision meetings with direct reports. Complete all required supervision documentation. Support and provide feedback to supervisors on employee-related topics, quality assurance activities, professional development, etc. Support the Program Director by assisting with reporting requirements, data management, model fidelity, and personnel issues. Oversee the program’s training process, including completing orientation with new employees and further supporting and developing all employees. Monitor adherence to Healthy Families America Best Practice Standards and Healthy Families Indiana policies. Participate in other program requirements or activities, including QI (Quality Improvement) projects, safe sleep initiative, etc. Fulfill other daily general supervisory duties.

Qualifications
Education/Licensure/Certifications/Experience:
- Master’s degree in human services or fields related to working with children and families, or bachelor’s degree in these fields with 3+ years of relevant experience preferred, or less than a bachelor’s degree but with commensurate HFA experience required
- 1+ years of experience as a Supervisor with Healthy Families America required
- A solid understanding of or experience in supervising diverse staff with humility, as well as providing support to staff in stressful work environments required
- Experience with family services that embraces the concepts of family-centered and strength-based service provision required
- Experience supporting culturally diverse communities/families required
- Experience in home visiting with a strong background in early childhood prevention services required
- Infant mental health endorsement (IMH-E) preferred
- 3+ years of previous experience in a progressively responsible position in a human service field with supervisory and/or clinical experience preferred
- Valid Indiana driver’s license, access to reliable vehicle, and current automobile insurance required

- Knowledge of parent-infant health and dynamics of child abuse and neglect

- An ability to establish trusting relationships

- Must be willing to be trained in Healthy Families America Best Practice Standards and Accreditation process
Working Environment
- Unconfined sitting, working at computer, attending meetings, etc.; standing and walking; steady use of hands and fingers – data entry; limited lifting and carrying.
