Job Role Summary
Responsible for answering incoming phone calls and entering service requests from the public for Mosquito Control and Rodent Control
Associated Job Duties
- Take service requests for vector borne disease control programs via phone and computer, enter them into computer system, and organize them appropriately. Phone volume is heavy at times. Requires good customer service skills and accurate data entry abilities. Refer requests to other MCPHD departments and other agencies as appropriate.
- Record/manage two-way radio communication from mosquito technicians in the field
- File service requests and accompanying paperwork
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
- May be asked to do grounds keeping activities and equipment cleanup chores.
- Perform basic administrative tasks in the absence of Administrative Assistant
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- The ability to interact with the public in a professional manner is required.
- The ability to use a computer primarily for the purposes of data entry.
