Eskenazi Health serves as the public hospital division of the Health & Hospital Corporation of Marion County. Physicians provide a comprehensive range of primary and specialty care services at the 327-bed hospital and outpatient facilities both on and off of the Eskenazi Health downtown campus as well as at 10 Eskenazi Health Center sites located throughout Indianapolis.
What You Can Expect and Schedule
Progressive Care/Med/Surg/Telemetry Unit– 1:4 ratio and 144 beds
The Progressive Care (Acuity Adaptable) Registered Nurse provides clinical care and coordination skills to every patient served in the unit using the Eskenazi Health model of care, Synergy. The Progressive Care (Acuity Adaptable) Registered Nurse coordinates with the patient, family/loved ones and other healthcare disciplines to ensure care is appropriate to patient care needs.
Acuity Adaptable Care at Eskenazi Health represents a broad spectrum of inpatient services across 6 units and 3 floors of our acute care hospital. Patients admitted to an Acuity Adaptable unit at Eskenazi Health receive services from a wide variety of clinical specialties including: orthopedics, oncology, cardiology, palliative care, neurology, trauma, medicine, renal, urology, pulmonology, infectious disease, and more. Acuity Adaptable offers all private rooms as well as telemetry monitoring capability.
Within the PRN staffing team, employees will choose a Tier commitment level below and commit to an 18 week agreement at that Tier. Employees can increase their Tier commitment at the beginning of any payperiod and can decrease their Tier commitment at the start of their next 18 week scheduling period. Base pay is determined by Tier level commitment and can be discussed further with your recruiter.
- Tier 2 requires 24 hours per pay period
- Tier 3 requires 24 hours per week totaling 48 hours per pay period
Eskenazi Health is a Level 1 trauma and certified adult burn center with a level 3 NICU. Due to our high acuity, team members in this role can anticipate caring for and learning more about various populations in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Am I Qualified?
- Minimum of 2 years nursing experience as an RN in assigned area preferred #EXPRN
- Active Indiana RN license
- Current BLS
- Current ACLS *May obtain upon hire
- Current NIHSS *May obtain upon hire
