Job Role Summary

The Programmer Analyst will offer support for a wide variety of critical software applications. The Programmer Analyst will also develop custom scripts, reports and applications based on our project priority list, test applications regularly, create software patches and perform routine maintenance on systems.  The Programmer Analyst should have strong documentation skills and the ability to work with end users to define requirements.  The ability to help solve complex problems through the application of their strong analytical, troubleshooting, process and computer programming capabilities is a must.

Essential Duties

  • Works closely with system users to define requests for new programs and modifications to existing ones.
  • Ensures that all requests are completed in a timely manner and on schedule.
  • Plans and prepares technical documentation and instructional materials as documentation of program development.
  • Strong SQL skills for report writing and data analysis. 
  • Administer and configure Service Now Application to include application and workflow development.
  • Analyzes problems identified by users to determine potential solutions.
  • Designs and develops custom reports as identified by user requirements.
  • Attends classes and conferences as deemed necessary to maintain technical and business proficiency.

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 3 - 5 years programming experience.
  • Or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2008 or later
  • Crystal Reports XI or later
  • Service Now
  • Javascript
  • XML
  • Healthcare/Health Department/Hospital experience highly desired.
  • License / Certification:  valid Indiana driver’s license and access to own vehicle for in-county travel
