Job Role Summary
This position is responsible for assisting with the overall operations of the YFIN department. This position also ensures quality and consistent execution and coordination of the comprehensive program goals and objectives at all locations.
Essential Duties
Responsibility 1: Implement the project’s policies and procedures for the consistent execution of the project goals and objectives, including the use of computerized information system for data collection. Continuously monitor, evaluate and implement quality improvement of the policies and procedures based upon the data collected.
Responsibility 2: Participate in administrative team meetings to discuss particular concerns regarding the progression of the project to meet the goals and objectives.
Responsibility 3: Provide project staff with activities and program updates as instructed by Director.
Responsibility 4: Initiate and arrange individual meetings to ensure quality program execution by the project staff and to discuss any collaborative partner updates and concerns.
Responsibility 5: Develop a Technical Assistance procedure for all project staff and collaborative partners.
Responsibility 6: Participate in the training of the project staff.
Responsibility 7: Assist in the development of writing grants and other fundraising activities.
Responsibility 8: Assist in developing relationships with community organizations to establish collaborative partnerships to facilitate and enhance the execution of the program’s goals and objectives.
Responsibility 9: Participate in the Community Advisory Group and/or Youth Leadership Council.
Responsibility 10: Attend and present at various local and national conferences and community meetings to disseminate information about the project.
Responsibility 11: Strategic Planning
Responsibility 12: Acts as a liaison between staff, partner organizations, Vendors, Clients, Government Agencies.
Responsibility 13: Assist the Director in the organization, development and coordination of the Road to College and Career Tours, incentive stores, annual celebrations, and programs for families and child’s other parent. Ability to lift and carry boxes as needed.
Responsibility 14: Processing and submission of purchase order and check requests, and completion of monthly claim reports and submit to HHC Accounting Department.
Responsibility 15: Provide timely program reports and individual assessments and documentation, as directed by the Program Director, for program evaluation, grant and corporation reports.
Responsibility 16: Maintain Calendar of events for program.
Responsibility 17: Ordering and maintaining office supplies.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Public Health, Psychology, Social Work, Health Education/Admin, or related major program development and experience in working with high risk youth.
- Minimum three to five years of effective and progressive management/supervisory experience
- Experience with computerized data management systems and using data to determine quality improvement processes.
- Experience in developing logic models, program goals and objectives and program evaluation techniques.
- Experience in using data for continuous quality improvement activities
- Knowledgeable of available community resources for teens and their families and how to access those resources.
- Experience in Event Planning.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a keen ability to pay attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and function effectively under stress and deadlines.
- Ability to work independently without daily monitoring of time and completion of duties.
- Self-directed
- Able to occasionally work longer hours, evenings or weekends as the duties dictates.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledgeable about adult learning and have the ability to provide staff training on policies and procedures, positive youth development, and other youth service topics
- Knowledge of developing logic models, program goals and objectives and experience with program evaluation techniques.
- Experience in resource development
- Knowledgeable about normal child and adolescent growth and development, healthy relationship/marriage skills, fetal development, the process of childbirth, sexuality development, contraception methods, and STI/HIV/AIDS.
