Drive Accuracy and Innovation in Provider Data Management

Eskenazi Health is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Staff Systems Analyst to ensure the integrity and functionality of systems that manage practitioner data and credentialing. This role plays a critical part in maintaining compliance, accuracy, and efficiency across platforms that support patient care and provider operations.  

About the Role

The Medical Staff Systems Analyst provides technical and analytical expertise for systems used by Medical Staff Affairs and other hospital departments. Responsibilities include managing credentialing and re-credentialing processes, maintaining practitioner databases, and ensuring timely completion of applications. The analyst also serves as a liaison for Epic provider-related issues and supports system upgrades, reporting, and user training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain credentialing systems such as CACTUS and AppCentral/iPrivileges/iProfile/iResponse.
  • Establish and monitor system security and user access.
  • Develop and analyze complex reports to support compliance and operational needs.
  • Monitor exclusion lists (LEMM, Medicare/Medicaid) and ensure regulatory adherence.
  • Provide system training and mentoring for staff.
  • Act as Epic liaison for provider-related workflows and data integrity.
  • Maintain accurate records for Graduate Medical Education trainees and billing processes.


 

Qualifications

•    Associate’s degree in computer science/technology/programming and/or minimum of two years of database management experience, preferably CACTUS.
•    Minimum of three years of experience in a business office setting, preferably in health care environment.  Experience working as a Medical Staff professional is preferred.
•    Experience with the CACTUS database is preferred.
