Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center, Indiana's first community mental health center, provides comprehensive care for emotional and behavioral problems, including severe mental illness and substance abuse. The Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center offers both inpatient and outpatient services, including several outreach centers as well as clinic- and community-based services.
About Eskeanzi Health Thomas & Arlene Grande Campus
Eskenazi Health Thomas & Arlene Grande Campus, which is located at 6002 E. 38th St. at the northeast corner of East 38th Street and North Arlington Avenue. Eskenazi Health collaborated with members of the immediate neighborhoods and community organizations throughout the planning and design of the building. Guided by community input, the facility will serve as a hub for community gathering, providing expanded and accessible care options and social amenities under one roof.
Our new Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health clinic at the Grande campus will see individuals from age 6 through the lifespan. A multi-disciplinary team will provide services including individual and group therapy, medication management, case management and nursing services including blood draws, injections, and medication support. Criteria would include that mental health symptom interfere with daily activities at least several days a week.

In the role of a Licensed Clinician, your responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of therapeutic interventions, including individual, family, and group sessions, all grounded in evidence-based practices. Central to this position is the management of a caseload, where you will systematically identify the therapeutic, rehabilitative, and case management needs of each client.
Am I Qualified?
- Master's degree in a Human Services field.
- Possess full clinical licensure: LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor), LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist).
- Possession of a valid Indiana driver's license and able to meet the Eskeanzi driving requirements.
- Able to pass DCS background check requirements
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Embrace, understand, and operate under the Recovery Model, including AIDET and the spirit of motivational interviewing (MI), while adhering to established levels of accountability.
- Conduct biopsychosocial evaluations (BPSE), integrating team-gathered information to develop integrated diagnostic summaries.
- Prepare Clinical Treatment plans based on BPSE and consultation with the treatment team, engaging clients, families, and the team throughout the process.
- Manage a caseload, identifying therapeutic, rehabilitative, and case management needs, and collaborate with team members to address these needs.
- Perform individual, family, and group therapeutic interventions using evidence-based practices, demonstrating competency.
- Provide quality case management services based on client needs.
- Monitor client progress and update treatment plans at specified intervals, consulting with clients, families, and the team
- Complete accurate and timely documentation of activities and written reports.
- Identify community resources and assist clients in accessing them.
- Provide indirect services to external agencies and the community through consultation and education.
- Interpret and apply service and billing procedures according to client needs, completing billing and timeliness and accuracy.
- Adjust activities and behaviors to ensure age-appropriate care for clients served.
- Advocate for clients to ensure access to needed services including developing community relationships and resources.
- Meet agency standards for timely completion of documentation and client services hours.
