Job Role Summary

Position requires the skills to operate variety of light and heavy powered. Performing standard job in the field. Involves heavy lifting, long standing hours and ability to work in adverse weather conditions.

Associated Job Duties

• Tow tractor to and from each job site
• Load and unload tractor at all job sites
• Transport Boom and Dump trucks to landfill for disposal of debris
• Cut grass, trees, shrubs, and limbs using various power equipment
• Rake and pick up trash and debris.
• Blow or sweep driveways and/or sidewalks.
• Participates in public health emergency preparedness exercises and in the response to public health emergencies, as directed
• Participates in a minimum of two H.O.P.E. events totaling a minimum of eight (8) hours annually
• Other duties as assigned.

Associated Job Duties:

• Be flexible and willing to learn new job-related skills
• Be able to operate variety of light and heavy powered equipment
• Perform standard job services, cleaning job sites under supervision of crew chief
• Be able to navigate from various work sites on timely basis
• Performing standard job services

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• At least 5 years of working experience  
• Good Driving Record

Licenses/Certifications Required

Class A CDL License

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Must be able to lift heavy objects
• Stand, and move for long period of time
• Be able to utilize a road map, and with good driving skills
• Operate light and heavy powered equipment such as boom truck, tractor trailer, dump truck tractor, chain saw, weed eater, etc.

• Withstand Severe weather conditions
• Standing, lifting, or walking
• Driving to and from Landfill
