SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for assisting the Vice President of Grants and Grants Administrators to develop, coordinate, and monitor all grant-funded programs at the Health and Hospital Corporation of Marion County, including the Marion County Public Health Department, IEMS, and Eskenazi Health. 

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: (Other duties may be assigned)

  • Create and Monitor monthly active grant reports
  • Monitor grant reporting obligations and prepare monthly reports
  • Serves as lead coordinator of the Grants Database
  • Reviews and approves invoices for assigned grants
  • Manage MiFi and cell phone accounts for grant funded employees, including review and processing invoices
  • Prepares and edits budgets of assigned grant-funded programs
  • Monitor invoicing conducted by Eskenazi Finance
  • Works with appropriate personnel to monitor expenditures of the grant-funded programs
  • Completes and submits timely financial compliance reports
  • Monitors grant budgets to ensure proper and accurate use of grant funds
  • Serves as liaison to subcontractors
  • Prepares quarterly grant summaries
  • Serves as liaison between grant programs at HHC/Headquarters, IEMS, and Eskenazi Health

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor Degree or Higher
  • 2 – 5 years of previous accounting or finance experience preferred

MUST HAVE ABILITY TO:

  • Use Microsoft suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat
  • Use copy/fax/scan machines
  • Handle multiple tasks simultaneously
