Job Role Summary

Provide executive administrative support to the Director of Public Health. Requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to provide information and service to a wide range of internal and external contacts on behalf of the Director.  Works independently performing a wide range of complex and confidential administrative duties. Serves as the liaison between external partners and senior management teams on behalf of the Director; organizes and coordinates executive outreach and external relations efforts. Provides assistance in the coordination of activities of Public Health Administration and the Bureaus of Population Health and Environmental Health.

  • Demonstrated 3 to 5 years of related experience. 
  • Strong knowledge of Windows, MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills including ability to present results and interact with executive staff.
