Job Role Summary

This position is responsible for cleaning up properties, removing trash, rubbish, and debris. Must be able to work outside in adverse weather conditions. Must be able to work in team setting and operate different variety of power tools.

Essential Duties

  • Responsibility 1: Cleaning properties, cutting grass, and removing trash. - 20%
  • Responsibility 2: Operate weed eater, bush hog, and rake up debris. - 20%
  • Responsibility 3: Assist in showing new hires the operation of the equipment, chainsaws, weed eaters etc. - 20%
  • Responsibility 4: Make sure tools are used properly and are in good operating condition. - 20%
  • Responsibility 5: Clean court orders, 502’s and specials. - 20%

Associated Job Duties

  • Keep assigned vehicle clean and free from trash and debris.
  • Inspect truck daily, fill out pick-up truck inspection form weekly and turn into Crew Chief.
  • Log on to the MCPHD network, keep all related trainings current and up to date.
  • Treat all employees and members of the public with respect.
  • Report any issues or concerns to management.
  • Adhere to department safety standards.
  • Navigate to various work sites in a timely manner.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 – 3 Years’ experience in similar field.
  • Good Driving Record.

Licenses/Certifications Required

  • Valid driver's license.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Must be able to lift heavy objects.
  • Stand and move for long periods of time.
  • Be able to read road map, and with good driving skills.
  • Operate light and heavy powered equipment.

Working Environment

  • Withstand Severe Weather Conditions.
  • Standing, Lifting, Walking.
