Job Role Summary

Responsible for directing and performing work associated with measuring performance related to Health & Hospital’s governmental funds strategic operations. The incumbent will also review or oversee their team review enterprise funds monthly financials and produce a brief presentation and narrative for HQ C-suite team.

Essential Duties

Directs the Corporation toward utilizing a strategic, data-driven approach to assessing new opportunities.
Directs the Corporation toward improving performance related to our mission, vision, and values.
Supports strategic planning with guidance from the c-suite team and senior leadership.
Guides the Corporation to evaluate, select, prioritize, execute, and monitor strategic improvements.
Creates an environment that uses data to foster inquiry, creativity, evaluation, and accountability.
Creates and maintains the required data analytics infrastructure for effective business analytics.
Monitors performance and results of executed initiatives by monitoring pro-forma plans and tracking success metrics.
Ensures project initiatives are aligned with strategic priorities and employ established industry techniques and benchmarks.
Directs a performance-oriented, learning culture that learns from success and failures.
Supports succession and development of leaders within the Corporation.
Helps troubleshoot complex operational problems as they arise.
Supports and participates in the implementation of work/business design and redesign in collaboration with senior leaders to meet the Corporation’s strategic goals.
Demonstrates appropriate leadership and stylistic techniques when working with complex customer and stakeholder groups.
Communicates complex ideas simply and effectively, both orally and in writing.
Contributes to the creation of both the statutory and operational budgets.

Qualifications

Education/Licensure/Certifications/Experience:
Master’s in business administration (MBA) from an accredited college or university or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license strongly preferred.
Minimum of 5 years previous business operations and financials analytics experience (preferable governmental setting).
Previous experience managing a team preferred. If incumbent has minimal experience in management, the incumbent will participate in management training courses or seminars.
