Job Role Summary

The Epic Analyst as a member of the Corporate Information Services team will perform a variety of duties related to Epic and other information technology applications as assigned.  Responsibilities include report writing, managing Radar dashboards, SlicerDicer and Reporting Workbench in Epic.  The Epic Analyst will work with the Corporate Information Services team and key customers to ensure appropriate implementation of application reporting.


The Epic Analyst will have a good balance of operational experience, project management skills, and organizational skills.   Our ideal candidate has analytical and product management skills, including an advanced understanding of how to facilitate design reviews with developers to communicate business requirements and collaboratively build efficient queries and present data for ease of use and maintainability. This role will also be the primary design leader for complex business intelligence solutions, and will need to effectively build partnerships between business areas and the Analytics and Data Warehouse organization.


The Epic Analyst works under the supervision of the Manager, Application Development.  As a member of the CIS department, the Epic Analyst may be asked to perform other duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Health Care field.
  • Two to three years of professional experience.
  • Report development or business operations experience preferred (clinical, support staff, lab, dental, etc.).
  • Certification in Cogito or willingness to obtain certification within first 2 months of employment.
  • Certification in two of the following or willingness to obtain certification within first 4 months of employment.
