Eskenazi Health serves as the public hospital division of the Health & Hospital Corporation of Marion County. Physicians provide a comprehensive range of primary and specialty care services at the 333-bed hospital and outpatient facilities both on and off of the Eskenazi Health downtown campus including at a network of Eskenazi Health Center sites located throughout Indianapolis.

Job Role Summary
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Develops and documents programming standards and procedures
- Works with end users to gather requirements and to get a full understanding of user requests
- Works with technical team on problem analysis and issue resolution
- Designs, develops and tests documents
- Implements SAP WRICEF solutions
- Communicates with other Information Services staff and management regarding all technical aspects of data resources
- Documents system specific processes and operational concerns as directed by management
- Prepares and submits regular status reports to the SAP Manager
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Bachelor's degree in Accounting is preferred
- Eight years of accounting experience may be accepted in lieu of bachelor's degree
- Hospital accounting experience is strongly preferred
- Hands on experience with at least one full life cycle ERP implementation, or enhancing an ERP system
- Experience configuring accounting touch points with other modules, including cost accounting and materials management
- Knowledge of SAP Finance modules: FI, FI Special Ledger, CO, and Funds Management
- Understanding of and experience working with business processes and interrelationships including system design, system analysis, system standards, system testing and programming
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of hospital accounting, auditing, and financial reporting
- Ability to identify opportunities to enhance and expand services, and raise level of awareness regarding participants of SAP ERP system
- Working knowledge of business processes including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, fixed assets, closing processes and the technology that supports these processes
- Ability to drive business requirements and business process design sessions; ability to work with the business units of a medium to large healthcare organization
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to solve problems
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in problem-solving environment
