Job Role Summary
The Marion County Public Health Department’s Academic Health Department is seeking a masters-level intern with an interest in manuscript development and both qualitative and quantitative methods.
Essential Duties
Intern Job Responsibilities:
The Academic Health Department intern will support work related to the Academic Health Department activities. This internship will respond to the requirements and interests of the intern, and will include projects involving manuscript development, qualitative data transcription, report editing, policy development, partnership development, and webinar planning and facilitation.

Qualifications
Intern Qualifications/Skills:
• Current MPH student (any concentration)
• Good writing skills
• Good communication skills
• Some experience in manuscript development
• Background working with qualitative and quantitative data
• Some experience with statistical analysis programs preferred
Education/Experience:
• MPH student or undergraduate student (any concentration
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Flexibility to respond to changing situations
• Computer skills in Microsoft suite
Working Environment
• Candidate must be currently able to legally work in the United States
• Location will be hybrid
