Position:

Non-Clinical Intern

Education:              

Seeking Undergraduate or Graduate Degree. 

Degrees inlcude (but are not limited to):  Communications, Education/Training, Finance, Health Care Administration, Human Resources, Management, Marketing, Public Health... 

Rate of Pay:

-Unpaid - Students receive complimentary parking, career assessments and letters of recommendation.  Students are encouraged to seek academic credit.

Qualifications:
 

• Public speaking and presentation skills.
• Strong customer service, critical thinking skills
• Ability to multitasks in a fast paced environment.
• Strong computer skills.
• Close attention to detail.
• Maintain high degree of confidentiality.
   

Requirements:

-Intern must be at least 18 years of age.

-Successful completion of the application, interview, hospital volunteer orientation, and position specific departmental training.

-Intern will be required to submit to criminal background inquiry, national governmental sanction check, child abuse clearance, sexual offender registry clearance and an Occupational Health Screening.

Time Commitment:

Student must commit to an average of 20+ hours per week during approved internship timeline.
